
Is your iPhone or iPad running iOS7? Then you can now use Siri to update your Twitter feed, show tweets from certain people or hashtags, and see what’s trending!
Show tweets from a specific person with Siri
1. Press and hold down the Home button to activate Siri on your iPhone or iPad running iOS 7.
2. Say something like What is The Mac Genius tweeting about?
3. Siri will then pull in recent tweets by that specific person.
4. Tap on any tweet to read more, view details, or launch in the Twitter app.
Search a specific term or hashtag on Twitter with Siri
1. Press and hold down the Home button to activate Siri on your iPhone or iPad running iOS 7.
2. Say something like Search Twitter for #iPhone where you’d say hashtag followed by whatever topic you’d want. You also don’t have to use the hashtag if you’d prefer just searching for a general term.
3. Siri will then pull in recent tweets containing the search term or specific hashtag.
4. Tap on any tweet to read more, view details, or launch in the Twitter app.
View what’s trending on Twitter with Siri
1. Press and hold down the Home button to activate Siri on your iPhone or iPad running iOS 7.
2. Say something like What’s currently trending on Twitter? or “What are the top trending topics on Twitter?”
3. Siri will then pull in recent trending topics or tweets that are trending depending on what you asked for.
4. Tap on any tweet to read more, view details, or launch in the Twitter app.
